I dig the black silver and red. But seriously, you guys know there are other grips available right? You know the everlasting tire fire on the Simpsons? There’ll be a fire one day, in every major city, consisting of discarded Ourys.

See I like this. I’m not into the riser bars myself, but this is a practical commuter. Nice bike!

we can all get along, luft so many people use ourys for a reason they are mad cushy. when i started using them again after 10 years i was like i wish they made shoes.

The ourys suit me well. Lot easier for me to rock without gloves and maintain confidence in my grip. If all the discarded ourys are to burn one day, at least I know I did my part.

I have a pair of old cushy grips on a used Trek 400 with straight bars and also like the feel of the grips with some softness. I think they say Sure grip and don’t have any bulbous end on them, black. They feel better than the old hard rubber of the 69 Raleigh 3 speed. Everyone likes a little tenderness !

I know, they are cushy, but I wish oury had different versions available so black grips didn’t look like every other pair. Two toned. Patterned. Something. I recently wrapped my riser in gel bar tape and it feels way better than oury and without that blistery feeling grips give you.

I have yet to wrap any tape on the bars. Mostly bare since I like Chrome and also I keep moving drops, one moustache and various others around and have not settled down yet enough to wrap. Gel tape sounds better than the one gel saddle an old Raleigh 3 speed (76) came with. It felt like I had a load in my pants. Brooks B17 to the rescue on a $20 garage sale deal!

Now this is a solid, clean frame/setup you have G. You could run some track grips like these Soma T-grips…http://store.somafab.com/tfortrba.html. Maybe throw up a new set of bars. haha.
