Nice but the rims kill it.

Yeah, it’s fine, leave the orig paint alone…work around it. Rims are just o.k., but they are way shiny (tacky) for me and seem out of place on this high-end of a frame. The bmx seat and rat trap pedals are just as bad or worse

thats not a bmx seat. it is a old selle royal dolphin and i think thats a nice seat for a bike like this

Thank you for saying that Johansson. JCog, learn your saddles. A Dolphin is classic and damn near impossible to find these days.

Hmmm…look how NOT hacking off a derailleur hanger has zero impact on the appearance of a conversion. Thanks for not castrating your Colnago. Hey “sedmak’s customs” check it out.

appreciate all your comments guys.
thanks to johansson and bob for worshipping the dolphin.
poor paint condition means rust below the bottom bracket and stuff not visible on the pics. i´m really not a perfectionist but this sadly doesnt pass for patina anymore.
ng: i would never rip of the hanger. have the stock parts stored in my cellar so that it can be easily converted into its origin everytime..

i like the saddle. the paint might be bad but thats hard to tell in these pictures, looks fine to me. thats the awesome part about bad paint…you notice it since its your bike and you are up close to it often, but it looks totally fine in pictures. i dont mind the deep Vs either. or the pedals. does need some white tape. i’m biased and think this frame would make a much more awesome geared bike but for a conversion its nice

Who cares what the paint looks like its original. Unless its gouged with cancer leave it be.

and it’s only original once. not many repaint look as good as even old original style.
