The bike looks great, but you got full stars for me for the name. I really hope you named it Whynnona for the “Whynnona Rider” joke.
That’s a really slick looking bike.

Is that a real Hetchins? If so, are you aware of what you have there? I’m all for converting bikes to fixed or single speed but that one there needs to be outfitted with some top shelf components, geared and off the sand!

Yes, real Hetchins Spyder, circa ’77. I’m not a collector and ride it much more now as a single. She’s probably happier with less Italian flair too- at least the converted hubs are British.

Do what you may. Tear those gears off. Very clean and sexy. The black and silver is an awesome look for this, especially with the retro tires and unicanitor (?) saddle

Yes, it looks very nice. It would be a treat to see some closeups of the lugwork for which they are known.

Show us your LUGS! Show us your LUGS! Show us your LUGS!
If I press my face up against the screen I can sort of see’m. Did this builder/company make their own lugs? From what I can see they look fancy like Nervex….or maybe nicer? The seat stays look to be “fastback” style…or at least that’s what I’ve heard them called. Definitely a very cool bike.
