Just an old Oxford 10 speed that once belonged to an elderly relative. Kept everything pretty nice and simple/cheap, stripped all the decals off, cleaned up the frame, re greased, removed the clutter. Added new chain, cables, handlebar etc etc etc etc.
Thinking it will make a nice gift for my lady friend.

Nice and clean. I don’t like the white on white seat business. A light tan seat perhaps? Tan pedals? Still, nice looking bike. A really nice gift. Lucky someone.

You need to relocate the front brake to the other slot in the rear.

@Virgil Q Staphbeard, and have two rear brakes? I don’t understand what you’re talking about.

Yes, two rear brakes. I believe the best way to help you understand can be said in one word: STRAIGHT UP BALLA’ STATUS

maybe even add a coaster brake for supreme triple rear braking awesomeness!

NO,that would be staight up stupid. Might as well take the brakes off. Rear brakes are pretty much useless(like 10% of stopping power and two would be twice as worthless. I’m pretty sure he wants her to be able to stop.(On the bike that is).

Yeah two rear brakes would look stupid and would be redundant.
