the handlebar/stem combo is pretty horrible. so is the lack of seatpost. drops or bullhorns with a not butt-ugly crazy long stem and a silver stem and a level saddle on some actual seatpost and it would be allot nicer of a build.

Bill.don’t take it so personal. Visps suck. Just Goggle it dude.I have seen three broken frames. Toy’s R Us sells them for g sake!.They might improve someday like Leader did. Leader now makes some great frames but the early stuff was suspect and heavy.And Visp has nowhere to go but up.Just the facts maame.

so you havent ridden one? i just googled visp and nowhere did i read about them breaking. just cos toys r us sell aluminium road frames doesnt mean they are the same as a visp track frame. by your logic toys r us sells cinellis, dolans, leaders etc. the wheels are pos stars wheels off ebay with quando hubs http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Stars-Cirle-Single-Track-Fixie-Wheels-Wheelset-/150580912707?pt=AU_Sport_Cycling_Parts&hash=item230f526243. I dont take it personal and i dont think visps are that great compared to more expensive frames but your comments are ignorant and baseless, but then again most of your comments are. you say its the facts so back it up with some links.
ng, i do have a visp as my beater and it rides great. no toe overlap, strong and sturdy, cheap and excellent customer service. it is a harsher ride due to the aluminium but can’t really complain.

Bill.you can’t read I guess.All the Google entrys are things like”Don’t waste your time” and “My frame broke after two weeks”.The very first post tells how most of the pieces broke. THe best I could find was they are OK for the money(talk about faint praise)And yes,They are the same frames as the TYU bikes.NO,I haven’t ridden one(never smashed myself in the head with a hammer either-some things you just know).And what kind of logic says TRU sells Cinelli,Dolans ect. Because they are aluminum frames? MY comments are ignorant and baseless? Like I said,Visps are crap frames and I’m glad you like your beater=it is what it is.We all have dirty secrets. Mine is a Next(Wal-mart)coaster brake beach cruiser-five bucks at a garage saLE,AIR IN THE TIRES AN WE’RE good.And if(when) it gets jacked at the beach,no biggy.It is what it is(or isn’t).And it ain’t no Bianchi(but still not a Visp.

Who cares if they are heavy? I can say from experience that a VISP frame is not so good when it comes to quality. Not sure if they fall apart (mine dident and i put alot of miles on it) but they are not far off of dog shit. worth $125 yes maybe, but other than that its a waste of time and money to own one. Spend the extra for something nice. the chain stays on my VISP are crooked as are the seat stays. Measurements are off on seat post. That to me is enough to consider it shit. Ride what you like, but you cant call VISP quality by any means…

cheers AB for the compliment. should i take the comments ‘bellend’ and ‘cant read’ as not personal? lolz luv da internetz. i agree this bike is not great (notice i didnt say distgusting,vile,badly setup,cheep,dangerous,useless and embarassing piece of scrap; someone put ni a litle more effort with this bike than you did with your comment).
anyway, i have a visp frame. the only complaint i have is the seatpost is not 27.2mm as advertised. it hasn’t broken. it was cheap. it is a harsher ride than steel as are all aluminium bikes. all the bad reviews are from people that don’t own one and have never ridden one such as yourself sloman.
the hate far outweighs their faults.
focus on the good! cheap (how many frames this cheap with track ends are there?), aero tubing (its a looks thing), strong, no toe overlap (perfect for commuting).
i’m gonna have to post mine now arent I
