Now that’s the sexy Peugeot I was waiting for. Forget the wrap and brake comments. Just remove your tires and the sparks will serve as caution flares to drivers and pedestrians.
Love the frame / fork. The wheels are nice but I think a more traditional look would do it justice. Oh yeah, wrap the bars. What’s up with all the naked bars lately. Very nice.
Or….try something new and wrap your hands in bar tape instead of the bar. I believe this will be the new trend as it shows an unquestionable commitment to cycling and cutting edge style.
For sure, Punk. When this whole naked bars thing started I suggested the strong possibility that naked-bar riders were simply wearing gloves. I also suggested the possibility of these riders being ppl who like to change up handlebars often and therefor avoid tape or grips to make the swap way easier. Unless you have a “front load” type stem, swapping tapped/gripped bars sucks.
This bike is so well thought out and is a perfect 10 to me. I am usually not a fan of naked bars either but they just look so damn good on this. Like the Fork, stem and bars are all one solid thing.

I dig the orange hub. Reynolds 531? Doesn’t look lugged…Can they weld 531?…Maybe 501.

I Love that Flash of orange on the fork to match the wheel. Way to pull the whole bike together!

You might be right dear Ng, but don’t you think that a pair of gloves could do it better?

know what could do even BETTER? gloves AND tape! *gasp*
and if you have a need to change up bars, you could always just flip drops upside down for some sweet bum bars!!!
i dunno, honestly i just think untapped bars looks contrived and tacky. but besides that this build is very cool.

Very cool frame/fork, Shame the hubs don’t match, and orange wheels? Really?
January 22nd, 2011 @10:52 pm
Classy conversion, I really dig the choices on the wheels. Usually the matching on the peugots isn’t quite right, but this is perfect.

I like this bike…a lot (probably because it looks sorta like mine). Color matching is spot on. Get some bar tape and go.
