So it’s a trick bike…cool. I love fgfs….but all the guys I know that trick don’t run anything close to 44-17.

From all the research i’ve done, and personal epxperimentation with gearing, somewhere between 68-71 gear inches is perfect for tricking. The gear ratio i currently use gives me about 72 gear inches, so i’m alittle on the high side, but still works alright for what I do now. I plan on getting a bmx splined crank and a 41t chainring so that will bring my gear inches down to 68, which will be perfect. 44-17 is better for tricks than 46-16 or 48-16 at least…

I’m thinking about maybe getting this bike too because of the attractive price. How’s the bike ride though? Is it worth the money or should I just get a more expensive bike? and can I commute on this?

I don’t even know what a vilano is or why there are parts named after a hardcore rapper (tech n9ne).
