This my Leader 727tr. Leaders seem to get a bit of a bad rep around here it seems! I hope you like mine, it’s nice to have a frame I can race on, tear around town on, and bar spin all with a change of bars and a flip of the rear wheel!
Frame: Leader 727tr
Front Wheel: Swaps between a Dodici Deep V for tricks and around town to a FIR Carbon Bladed wheel when I need a brake for Races etc!
Rear Wheel: Fixed/Fixed (13/18) Dodici Deep V 3 cross. (handbuilt
)
Cranks: Sugino Messenger
Bars: Satori Bullhorns (street) BLB Drops (race) Charge Risers (trick)
Pedals: MKS Sylvan Stream
Saddle: Selle San Marco Rolls
Finishing kit: Thomson Elite
Brake: Shimano Sora with Dirty Harry Lever
Everyone has their own style – I’d love a steel vintage build someday but this suits me just fine at the moment!
Hope at least some of you like it.

ive never liked those specific leader frames with the curved downtube…but i actually like this build. what i would consider a “out there” frame balanced with classic/understated color usage.
im of the opinion that saddles should be level (as is sheldon brown) and same with the bars, i think i would like the looks of this build if the bars and saddle were level…but they havn’t been angled past the point of jackass angles, so they’re fine with me.
you took a frame i dont like and made a bike i do, so kudos

I also like this build-different without a bizzare attitude. I was bidding on one on E-Butt and let it get to the point of seriousness before dropping out. Imagined it stripped raw aluminum, drops and flip-flop. Ted,you are right .you can do a lot of options here. Enjoy.

Btw what in this build contains pinarello?

Thanks for the comments. The pinarello is my mistake. I was going to put my track bike (the pinarello) and this build in the same post but decided not to, just forgot to update the title!

And Yes Butterz – the Swan just came out of the water haha!
If you fancy it, check out our website where I did a very brief write up about the wheel build!
