i dunno russelr, it seems pretty much any bike thats hated on here deserves it, because allot of bikes on here are pretty piss poor. you will notice when an actually nice bike is posted, the regulars will shower it with praise. if you want a place to go where everyone will pat you on the back for throwing together another lackluster tarck bike, yah you are coming to the wrong place lol

carbon: if this is your idea of “great taste” try looking at the next bike on the list, “fujiwara”. now THAT is great taste. this is just run of the mill teenaged hipster tarck bike. i mean, this bike isn’t horrible, its just not really anything that great. i see little kids around my neighborhood ride bikes like this all over. “meh” frames, “meh” components, lots of bright flashy colors. im glad kids are out there riding bikes, but im personally not going to kid anybody and tell them i think their bike is awesome when i definitely dont. sooooo many people come on here, post their shit build expecting praise, get butt hurt when nobody does and points out things they could do better on their build, then run off with comments like “fuck all teh haters, everyone on here is a hater, boo hooo”….if you want some back patting go elsewhere, but if you want super honest criticism then you’re in the right place ;p

Ya,I only check back when I have some free time! Sometimes I have ALOT of time. But there’s always a shit bike or two and a cryer who doesn’t get it so alls good for us haters. Put up a nice ride and we will be nice,shit gets shit.

I understand people have cheap bikes, expensive bikes, bikes you like, bikes you dont like. Im all for any kind of bike thats being ridden.

Sure there are tons of bikes on here that I personally don’t care for. But I don’t see a reason I need to blast somebody for it when its ‘their’ bike, when they spent ‘their’ money, and when they used ‘their’ own mind to build it the way they wanted to.

Its not your bike, there is not a perfect way to build a bike, so let people do what they want to their own bike. If you dont like it, whats the point in crappin on them and possibly turning them away from a passion that ‘supposedly’ we all enjoy. I expect some kind of mutual respect/bond from other bikers and this site is nothing like that.

Sloman you didn’t invent the bike so quit getting all pissy when you don’t approve. Seriously go ride your bike and try to remember why you started to enjoy riding bikes 50 years ago. My next build has one sole purpose, to be the most unapproved bike sloman has ever seen. Also, sloman I don’t need your permission to enjoy.

Whether its hipster, classic, true track, fake track, coaster, free wheel, fixed, fixie, murdered, ghost, chromed, advertisement board, trick bike, risers, taped, untaped, no foot retention, no brakes, or whatever I’m just glad their people out there enjoying bikes and getting the same high I get when I am pedaling down the road.

Some people better warm up to the comment-conventions on this site. This bike is a good example of cheap and ugly. Some people like cheap and ugly. Some people like elegant and refined. Some people think elegant and refined is pretentious, moldy and ostentatious. I wish they would trash the expensive, pretty-boy cash cows that get all the accolades around here. I can’t do it because I like those bikes.

This also looks like a fairly ridable cheap and ugly bike. Thats good. The vomit-inducing colors are a blight on humanity but that may be the intention. Thats cruel. If its a pleasure to ride for the owner then the comments here are meaningless. The real test for the owner is how many miles get clock on the thing. If he finds him or herself puking every time he or she takes it out for a spin and it ends up in the garage then maybe the comments will be of use.

Personally i can’t see the point in taking time out of ones day to “hate on a bike”.. What is the point of it?

If there is something about a ride that you don’t like i think there is better ways to comunicate that than posting that it looks like puke?

Gee girls seems I’ve gotten your pantys all in a twist.As for getting off my lazy ass,well I have been slacking off to fourteen or fifteen miles in the morning because of the August heat here(80plus by 8′oclock).So my indulgent comments are causing you damage?poor babys.My opinion-only.What is this bridge too far shit-a threat? And respect is both ways.If I am wrong(I was once_but I could be mistaken) point it out. Cracks about my typing skill and spelling are hardly germane as Tektspeeck seems to rule and profanity seem the high point of many people lit skills here.but it is about bikes and I only call ‘em as I see them.Try not to get so hissy pissy.
