i feel like i’d like this better with a quill stem. never liked chainring guards either.

I didn’t even notice the color… I was distracted by that stem.

Yeah, chainring guards are important if its a geared chainring. The stem? The stem. There aren’t a lot of options for modern quill stems plus you can dial in at least a modicum of adjustment with the new style. Often they look too beefy on these 1 inch heads but with the deep Vs it looks okay to my eyes.
