FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!
How exactly did you do this?

I totally stripped the frame and applicated a basic white color. Then i cut out every single panel from a comic and painted the back side with the white paint and after a short time of waiting (till the paper was flexible enough) i applied it on the sanded basic paint.
A total coat with semi gloss clear paint made it smooth, water resistant, irremovable and keeps the paper surface look.
Took around ten hours to do the whole frame, and it loaded approx 500g to the frame.
Thank you for the positive reviews and ratings! Didn´t think anyone will like it due to the low budget parts

I saw a couple bikes frames done like this on ebay. I thought they were kind of cool, and thought of getting one, but was not sure how well they would hold up. The idea has been around for a while but it still looks cool.

It may be have low budget parts, but its fairly unique and you put work into it so I think it merits the praise it’s getting. More than anything this is a rolling piece of art and that’s awesome in itself.
A lot of people put super high end parts on their bikes for show and not because they really get any benefit from them. Most of the people that come into the shop I work at would ride just as well with parts that cost less than half the price of the expensive parts that they’re putting on. But its fashion before function right?

Also I wanted to ask, what made you pick this spidey suit?

Thanks for the Comment
In fact I am a student doing the bike messenger job to survive. So the repository of parts is from the junkyard or classic bikes that are abandoned and can be bought for less.
And like you said, fashion before function is the aim of this bike, its only for a nice sunday excursion without time pressure.
My messenger fix btw. is a super ugly but reliable ktm-frame with several mtb-parts to make it a bit more rugged for the steep hills in my city, but it was totally free. Therefore the perfect work bike.
But what you said about the people not needing their expensive parts ist totally right. Every day i outrun (not even scratching along, more totally smoking them) people on 2,500 euro bikes with my 30 euro bastard bike. But at their workplace they are the full pros.. Fine feathers make fine birds..
And the idea for this paintjob was because i saw the material for napkin decoupage at a hobby shop. This bike was supposed to be the first try, but the result was better than expected.

That is ridiculously sweet!! I just finished my first rebuild working off a rattle-can paint job so I have a whole new respect for quality DIY pait jobs and finishes. This is amazing!!!!
