Too much to look at for my taste. The frame is busy enough and I’d like to see chrome rims and black wheels on it to calm it down a bit.

The funny thing is that except for aesthetics, this is a much better build than “Jenny” on the same frame and one is rated a 3 while Jenny is the highest rated bike on the site. Shows that we are a finicky bunch to say the least.

@Luftie – I think you are going a little far in that comment, especially since this is not a Tokyo fixie but rather some dude buying a Specialized frame with “Asian accents”. Most keirin frames are very simple and beautiful to say the least. One of my favorite catalogs that includes keirin frames is the Euro Asian Imports catalog. Flat tyres suck(whilst blowing at the same time) Why have you put the stem on the wrong way up(for a road bike)? It makes it look like it should have risers like a mtb. That’s just a comment about looks. If it rides ok and you are comfy,, enjoy.

I think that the keirin stuff is among the coolest stuff around. For those who don’t know it, check out the Euro Asian Imports catalog. It’s fantastic. This is a Specialized bike, nothing to do with fixed gears out of Tokyo. And also – if you look at the parts, aesthetics aside, this is a better build than “Jenny” that everyone is creaming over.

Daniel what’re you like ten years old? I realize this isn’t from Tokyo I was being sarcastic, which you obviously didn’t get. If you knew anything about me you’d know I make grand overgeneralizations, meaning that in reality 90% of the bikes I’ve seen from Tokyo look like a cross between the circus, 80′s bmx, crack, techno, and Gallagher. This bike totally isn’t worth all the effort I’m putting forth to explain myself.

@ Daniel: Dont pay any attention to Luftmensh. He has anger issues and (unintentionally) mangles the English language. He likes to provoke people with confusing, poorly phrased attacks, then back pedals after he gets called out when busted for his ignorance –defending his missives as clever prose that passed over your head. I dont think its stupidity (as he occasionally says something of interest). I think its more about careless, sloppy, mean-spirited lashing out. He must have been picked on by a cyber-bully in his youth. He also might apologize but I think we’d all wish he would just get his act together. Either that or shut the fuck up.
