Yes I live in Amsterdam and it’s flat. I don’t know how a hill looks like.
So I am a slow starter but when I get into the flow try to follow me
It’s my first bike and wanted to keep it simple, but guys tips are more than welcome. Currently working on a Pink Mercier ’74 that will be my masterpiece

its OK right now, i think it could be very nice with a few changes (in my opinion…thats what this site is about, right?
the frame is awesome, and having only black/yellow/silver components is the best choice aesthetically.
However, i am going to have to say it looks like you have a 700c back wheel, and a 27 inch front wheel. im guessing this is a conversion, and you bought a new fixed/free back wheel to replace the 7 or 8 speed 27 inch original wheel. it might behoove you to replace the front wheel for a 700c as well so the bike is more balanced.
i also personally think it would look better if your bullhorns created a straight line with the stem, so angling them down just a touch. i also think the chopped bullhorns could use another inch or so of chopping….that or actual bullhorns (instead of flop n chops)
thats about it from me. i really do think it has the makings of a really nice build!

I dig it. I cant stand non-matching tires but it works when the frame is painted this way. not my fav but i dig it!

take a inch or so off the bars!

I feel bad saying this, but I’d turn it back into a roadie. It’s a really nice frame. I never thought I’d become a snob about conversions…but after riding my own, multiple pedal strikes and feeling the difference between riding fixed road frames and track frames, there’s just such a big difference in handling. But as for critiquing this….I’d level and cut the bar 2 inches…and that’s it. Done and done.
