dude it looks like your seatpost is pointing in the wrong direction….
February 18th, 2010 @3:22 pm
no brakes or foot retention, seatpost wtf? otherwise nice.

That’s a nice, clean looking build. But yeah, I’m pretty sure you’ll want to flip that post around. The only posts I’ve seen that go that way are specifically time trial posts for sitting waaay forward. Nice colors.

it didnt look like the seat would mount properly the other way. i’ll spin it around and see how it feels.
like i said, first build haha

The saddle looks comfy once it is cocked around. I am curious if the bullhorns are comfortable or just trendy or both. Nice the way the saddle and fork have the same color. Looking good.

i spun the seat post and it does feel alot better. and the bullhorns are primarily for comfort. i have a pretty bad back and I didn’t want to opt for risers so i went with horns instead. my drops were killing me and i was riding them at the top 85% of the time anyway.

It has potential. Risers don’t look good on everything, and besides, the pursuit bars lend an aggressive edge to an otherwise neutral build.

what kind of wheels are you getting?
February 20th, 2010 @4:34 pm
not sure what kind of wheels yet. i want a set of velocity chukkers, but im not 100% on anything yet

Now that you have that seatpost turned around, you should get the updated pictures up. But for sure better build then the LEADER 735TR. Good job

Not hard to surpass that 14 year olds smurf jerkoff leader but that’s another story entirely.

hey luftmensh… cmon… out of all ages, 14? thx.
February 22nd, 2010 @8:45 pm
i’ll prolly be putting up some updated pics soon. with the seatpost spun, and the clips and straps installed.

lol @ the seatpost.
please post updated photos.
but really nice build actually, once you get that seatpost flipped and some foot retention.
i especially like the color scheme. olive, cream, brown…nice.

Wes, if it’s any consellation you look eighteen and linguistically sound mid-twenties. Also, Serve Cold is an astonishing achievement considering you’re only 14. Kids your age build highlighter whips that encourage profuse projectile vomiting.
I would like to see an update of this bike as well.

Luftmensh, it is spelled consolation. Tricky spelling.
April 28th, 2010 @6:38 pm
I meant consolation. I give consolation as a consellation to Wes for being a cool dude? It’s a stretch. Damn homophones. Technically it wasn’t misspelled, it was grammar, which isn’t my strong suit. And my job involves me drooling, pushing a supply cart, and looking busy for 12 hours. I’m lucky even to be able to utter the word “dinner” with rising intonation at the end of the day.
ng: ironically a few posts later i stumbled upon the update. Totally forgot about it. Short term memory. But I really meant a grander update, should anything major have occurred since the last update.
