you gotta love the old dura ace parts…so much style and quality. those vintage track hubs are almost impossible to get.
they have the 7600 track hubs on ebay…but even those are still to expensive for me

Btw: is there any tutorial on how to do a bartape job like he did? i mean without having to tape the ends?
June 30th, 2010 @5:10 am
@daniel, he just wrapped the bars starting at the top and going down. If you do it that way and you have thinner tape (like not cork tape) sometimes you can cap the end of the tape in with the plug. I find it to be a pain in the ass b/c it can tear up the end of the tape or bulge and not look all that great, but with the right tape (and if you’re better than doing it that style than I am
) it can look really nice like in this case.

The way I’ve always done is how CS said, start at the top (or middle if you have risers), maintain tight tension, and plug the bar tape into your bars, no taping needed.

Looks like “Benotto celo-cinta” tape -Hecho en Mexico.. It’s that thin old school plastic type. It’s super sticky(without adhesive)to clean bars…but it’s a bitch if you’re not wearing gloves…it offers no padding.

Quick looking bike for the track. Tooth loss on the road though. enjoy.

obviously a super high quality bike, but, visually, you need to decide whether to go all chrome or purple (…having both rear tubes a different color than the rest never looks good). I say go purple and get colored tires so the bike isn’t too dark, overall. The seat is also kinda dumpy looking.
