I’m not big on Varsity conversions but this one is done very nicely. I recommend getting some sort of foot retention – especially if you’re riding brakeless – but a great job overall.

(…as I was saying, before something prematurely posted me) every time I see one of these old unpainted Schwinns, I get a cool flashback to the early 70s (not drugs, I was like 7). Anyway, I agree the seat doesn’t fit in, at all. Also too much white for me….actually, I’m developing a complete dislike for hospital white on any bike (unless it’s on logo/stickers). Don’t be afraid of color – consult the color wheel for appropriate complementary and/or analogous colors to go with that nice candy apple frame

Well done. Agree saddle doesn’t fit. I don’t see bulls on a coastie but that’s me.
