58cm “Victory” frame. Steel wool hubs and crankset (46t). My first fixed/single build and now I know there will be more. Thanks to Jay at Winterbourne cycles and the guys at backpeddling for advice and parts.

Could be nice but the yellow is too much for the burgundy. I’d level the bullhorns, get some honey leather tape, get a normal chain and some white walls. This has a classic look to it with a bright yellow gimmick thrown on top of it.

Could not have said it better. The Yellow tape takes away from the fantastic frame. I love this bike but you should compliment that Brooks saddle with Brooks Bar tape. I would shorten the bull horns some as well.

Interesting. That doesn’t look like the kind of frame that normally uses a threadless stem. Do you have a threadless converter in it? If so what was your reasoning behind putting it in? I’m a big fan of threaded stems because they’re far easier to do exact adjustments in height on the fly (and if you’re not having a bike fitted to you that’s a very handy feature). What made you choose threadless over threaded?

Those arent bullhorns. Moose antlers. Looks more like they’d work as the wheel on the Queen Mary. A more reasonable cockpit… please. Now about the yellow… loose it. All of it. Go black or tone it down with a simple Brooks brown leather (as stated above). Real potential here. I went threadless on my threaded. Preference was assigned by an inexact decision about a stem.

if i cover up the bullhorns i really enjoy this build. maroon with yellow would not be my choice but for some reason i dont mind it on the chain or tires.
now, i like bullhorns, i have them on my fixed gear build, but on so many bikes they just look….off. either they look really bulky or super long and out of place. i chopped about 2 inches off my bullhorns so they wouldn’t be sticking out like a sore thumb. in my opinion, if you have long bullhorns, its best to have a shorter stem. also IMO, bullhorns should be parallel to the top tube.
im just going to say these bullhorns look bad on a otherwise nice build. either drops or even a flat bar or bullhorns that arn’t so long and parallel to the ground with a short stem and a leather tape that matches the nice brooks seat and this would be an excellent build in my book, even with the yellow.
