Now with Fi’zi:k Aliante saddle & Raleigh custom decals. But for daily-use I’m using risebar with Oury grips & Sella Italia Condor saddle (gotta admit it, it’s more comfortable using this saddle for daily). Don’t worry, I already remove the angrybirds LOL

This is great. Im in middle of a 78 SGP and I’d be happy if it came out similar to this. What kind of fork and year/model on the Raleigh? thanks! Nice ride.

@ sloman : well the bars only had 36cm wide & 17cm drop so maybe it’s a small drops
& the velodromes are about 10-15km from my home. I always ride to velodrome every sunday morning with my crew. Thx for the advice & yeah, I still saving my money for that flite saddle (and for a miche supertype seatpost LOL)
@ E : I’m still not sure about the fork & the year/model on this frameset but based on the internet, the fork are columbus 700c track fork (no brakehole & max 23c front-tyre). The frame itself has gipiemme dropouts & 2 cable-runs on the toptube. Maybe anyone can help me finding the exact year & model for this? and I’ll be thankful for that

@ sloman : btw if you’re asking about the drome’s location, it’s on Cimahi, West Java, Indonesia. It’s called Velodrome Munaip Saleh

@ danis : There’s are serial number on the underside of the bottom bracket and Sheldon Brown’s website has all the info.

@ E : there’s holes on the underside of its bb shell & when I got this frameset it’s already been painted into this red so I can’t find the serial numbers on it. My friends said that the serial number are on the backside of the seat-tube, maybe I’ll check that out later. And btw, I’ve searching for the years & models in here —> http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/

much better…almost perfection. I’m just noticing the blocky plastic toe clips (were those there before?) – I realize those are probably light, but I prefer the look of the rounder steel clips

@ JCogswell : thanks mate! yeap, I already use the plastic toeclips before. I don’t know but I’m not used to steel toeclips. My feet always get hurt when using steel toeclips especially when I do midskids (yeah, I wore shoes when riding the bike). So that’s the reason why I always using plastic toeclips since my first time I submitted my bikes here (If you remember, I use “Golden Eagle” bike before this Raleigh) =)

This is a beautiful build and proper conversion. I like the second set up better. Don’t mind the MTB clips and love that Selle Italia saddle – looks good and comfy. Btw, what risers are those?
January 15th, 2012 @12:12 am
@ bobc4t : it’s called Brain riser, a local brands here in Indonesia. Yeah, IMO in this bike-thing being comfortable when you ride your bike are the best bike-setup and the challenge is how to keep the neat look on your bike while still being comfortable to ride
