New stem, new bars, they look ridiculous, remove pad. Colors are hilarious.

new bars, new stem, new frame(that’s a Huffy ain’t it?),new saddle and post and a can of paint any one or two colors would fix this just fine. Hilarious? Like a bloody urine sample.

Bold, Daring. Successful? Yes. Restrained use of color? Yes. Why? Look how balanced it is. Red, purple with a touch of black and silver evenly distributed. We have some pretty god-awful bikes on this site. Careless mishmash of parts and colors. This one was thought through with TLC. Too bright? Too pungent? A little goofy? At least it all works together. Like it or not, it is harmonious.

jqnyc – agreed. Woulda gone with a red chain and a stem that isn’t maroon/magenta if I was running with these colors.

The stem colour stands out as not matching.

“Harmonious” or not, purple and red look like shit together. Shit harmony?

LOL! This would be a perfect bike for a lady that just turned 50! Google “Red Hat Society” and you’ll see what I mean.
