I think it is one of the better trek bike conversions I have seen, certainly on this site. I bet it is fun to ride too.

Never understood that mountain bike geometry. Not sure if it’s ready for the trails, or riding for that matter, without retention.

Sloping top tubes are fine but I’ve always fount those Treks to be hideous. You may as well be riding a damn pogo stick.
