WOW! I could put this one on a wall and just look at it all day. This is a piece of ridable art! The color balance is amazing. This is a perfect balance of art and functionality in my opinion. Well done!!

God damn, this bike would get me to ride flat bars on a road bike, and for me that’s really saying something!

Beautiful. Sad to see the original paint go though. Please ditch the stickers. Anyone who recognizes b43s won’t need reminding. This is probably the best use of white rims I’ve ever seen. Cheers.

Many thanks to you all. I’m happy you like my second fixie convertion :0)
I’m more gratified for my job with your positive feedback and so i don’t stop to ride with satisfaction this nice creation every day.

Very nice. I like it better tonight than when I first saw it this morning . a 10 Funny how time of day makes a difference maybe it’s the coffee in the morning as compared to the beer at night.

hey wooden, i’ve been wondering. you offer plenty of chuckles and information, but is your bike up here?

No bikes posted yet, my wife must show me about the camera and such. She is too impatient to take the time, maybe the son in law over a beer at my pace. I will start with the tandem single speed freewheel for a good roasting and toasting. thanks

Sweet! I like the luminous gray frame that causes the subtle green and white to appear as a reflection… almost. Great color use. My only negative comment is the chain… overkill with the zebra-effect… but… the thing is …when you trust most of the aesthetic decisions you can go along with the ones you might not like …so… keep it! I also like the way the flat bar works with that stem.

i personally don’t like the green-froggie colour but it’s a pretty cool bike

its cool but again there are so much better bikes on here.

At least it’s a vintage frame. I’m dying to start another build that actually fits me, a nice lugged steel frame with a chrome raked fork. C’est la vie.

Yes, I have the same opinion as Daniel, there are so much more nice, beautiful and certainly better bikes here and on other webpages, but the most important thing is, in my opinion, that these bikes don’t go to end up in the trash but exploited in anyway people like more and with any personal style.
I gave my best for this ;o)
Regards and have a nice ride

this is one of the best builds on here for sure.
first off apple green is a least favorite color of mine… BUT it is incorporated so well into the aesthetics of this build that it makes someone like me, who dosn’t like that color, like it lol
to be uber nit picky i will say the one thing i dont like is the white/black chain. a simple silver chain would tie in with the stem, seatpost, and brake.
i normally dont like flat bars but i really like them on this.
the frame is awesome. so is the stem.
lets just say if i could swap out all green for something else and a silver chain and i would score this an 11 if i could.

illdthedj.you have a good eye and I want to thank you for your literate responses and critices.a nice change from the low-life name callers that were invading this site.yes, this is a nice build despite being a green meanie without drops.

After evaluation of some comment i decide to change the chain color. What is your opinion, is better/nicer a silver or apple green chain? Thanks for your reply. Cheers
May 17th, 2010 @2:56 am
Go for a simple silver chain miky. Leave the existing green accents but don’t add to it. It’s a great looking bike now, so just s simple chain would be perfect

Yes, i have the same opinion right now. I prefer silver to. Thanks anyway MJ aka Wasptamer
