My name is Darren, this is my Peugeot fixie. I live in Joplin, MO and most of my town was destroyed by a tornado in May 2011 and my bike got thrown about 100 feet and is still as good as new
. I did have to replace the wheelset. I’m running 40 – 16 gears, I had an old Motobecane crankset that I wanted to use and it’s a very odd size so I used the inner chainring for now. Hope to go up to a 46 – 17 if I can find a chain ring to fit.

Would prefer matching white wheelset. 40-15 would give you almost the same as 46-17.

Err Yeah. That’s the whole point of the website. I still think it is a cool bike. Just giving some feedback.

the one time I’ll say lose the drops,go risers. It’s a cruiser conversion right,so cruise. Hope things get better Joplin.

I had just gotten home from a ride when the tornado hit. I had about 20 seconds to get underground and I left my bike on my front porch and it flew away lol.

Love that frame. Would like to see more traditional or even matching rims.
