Never heard of this frame builder before? Are you kidding me? Ever heard of Ciöcc? Pelizzoli is one of the greatest craftsmen in this business!
This build is absolutely awesome. It reminds me of an old Corvette Stingray with its colour and cromed lugs. Very majestic.

As Wik,Excuse me! Never claimed to know of every frame builder and welder in Italy. Just saying not familiar with him. And seeing that it’s a 2011 model I can’t see any history here. It’s a nice frame but hardly special-only obscure. great parts don’t hurt either.

@Sloman: No offense meant. The history behind this frame is the builder himself. He has been building superior bikes for 40 years and still builds them the old fashioned way, feeding upon his decades of experience. So the newer the better, as you get a great 70s bike brand new out of the box. This beats all the Kinfolks out there by lengths. Cinellis suck compared to Pelizzoli’s bikes.
But I agree on the crank. A thinner old style Campy would do better on this.

i know i will probably get bagged for this, because the bike is incredible quality, and i respect that, but its ugly, and sure it has great parts, but it is definitely not the best bike on this website, and sure it may run amazingly, but if its not good to look at whats going to make me to get to looking at its parts.

However, if you have ever ridden a steel bike and an aluminium bikes side to side, you would have noticed how lighter and stiffer the alloy one is compared to steel.

I admire the craftsmanship of the golden era frame artisans, who built all the relics we drool on today,
I also enjoy the more comfy, vibration absorbing feel of the ride.
But when you say things like “fuck the tig welded aluminium frames”, you should at least come up with arguments to back up your statement.

just like those saying carbon fiber is weak, even though scientifically proven to be 5 to 10 times the strength of steel.

Don’t be so ignorant. The man who made this is one of the greats. The lugs are flawless. This bike was made in 2011 – an instant classic. Too bad we are all tired of seeing its four different posts.

his bike although is nice! sort of (come out of a mold nice) ,it does not warrant three postings of the same bike .To me this is just an ego crutch for the owner with buddies rigging the vote .Bike looks like its never ridden( do not touch type of item ). Which is a shame to not to use the skill of the builder and enjoy its wonder(from his heart to your possesion).In short give it up! and let someone else’s bike be shown .You know real people putting together bikes the best they can with limited budget and being happy with the result and learning from the critic .Not a yuppie checkbook purchase wall hanger with 3 fake score cards .
