Hi I’m from Melbourne Australia.
This isn’t my first bike, but it is the first one worth putting up here.
The frame and fork are original Columbus PL panto-graphed tubing but have been powder coated (not by me) along the way somewhere and i do have plans for a full restoration when i can afford it. I ride with a clamp on dia-compe break when commuting and it is an easy change over when i need to take it off/put it on. 48/19 for commute, 48/13 for track. I ride everyday and this bike is light and stiff and rides perfect.
Parts:
Frame: Guerciotti Pista 57cm Columbus PL tubing.
Fork: Columbus Guerciotti panto-graphed
Cranks: Sugino Mighty
Chainring: Sugino Mighty Competition 48
Bottom Bracket: Campagnolo
Front Break (when attached): Dia-compe BRS 101
Stem: Cinelli
Bars: Cinelli
Tape: fi’zi:k
Saddle: fi’zi:k
Hubs: Formula
Rims: Unsure
Peddles/Straps: Welgo
Cog/lock ring: No name/Shimano Dura-ace

Is there any space between wheel and frame? Thats tight:) Great ride! Enjoy!

NICE!!! Looks like it would be great on the track and commuting. Interesting about the clamp on brake. So you can fully unclamp it? You don’t have to pull off the handlebar tape? I’ve done it where I have track bars with no brake lever and road bars with a brake lever and brake attached and just switched out the stem when I want to go to the track. Clamp on sounds a bit more practical. I should look into that.

The rear clearance is nice and tight but doesn’t touch.
The breaks are these ones: http://www.tracksupermarket.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=72&products_id=326
it’s just three allen key screws and it’s off/on. And the leaver opens fully so don’t have to worry about the tape.
I would love to be able to swap the stems but can’t afford another set of stem and bars like this at the moment.
Cheers

You spelled brake wrong…. tsk tsk. Shame, it was such a nice bike. Can you do wheelies?
I think your bottom bracket it loose.

@cs: ‘clamp on’ refers to the brake caliper clamping onto the forks as they are not drilled for brakes

Ah gotcha. I looked it up. I’ve never seen a clamp on caliper before. I didn’t even know they existed really. Thanks for expanding my part knowledge. How do they work? Do you notice a difference between those and brakes that are bolted into the fork?

The clamp on works great and if carefully put on won’t mark your froks. It is a much better option than drilling forks that weren’t intended for a brake.

Love it. Done so well and correctly. Wheel clearance is tight!! Now where are the comments like “what’s so special about this.” Everything. Cheers.

It is very nice, but the headset bearing races were powdercoated also, a little Chrome would be nice as well as a headbadge perhaps.

Perfecto… Perhaps an old school saddle to complement the traditional look? Perhaps not.
