Found it in a tree? Nice score Patrik! The only thing that looks a bit out of place is the wood handlebar, maybe you could do a wood themed bike and use it on that instead? I think this bike looks ok but would look better with risers (metal ones)
Is this frame too small for you? Aside from the complaints about this frame “deserving” better parts there is some strange things going on. The seat post is an odd choice. The sprung-Brooks seat is beyond odd and belongs on a different sort of bike altogether. The stem? Yuk. The wooden handlebar? Why not? You’re trying to retire a serious race bike and give it a second-life as a casual-fun ride. Its your bike. Go for it but please cage those pedals.
Did you spin the bars on the lathe ? Now I see why you need the sort of stem for attaching if the bar is all one piece and stained at the ends. Nice colors wood and steel.

There is still time to change this before Eddy finds out. This frame deserves classic build.

put the stem back on the K-Mart MTB,the wood handle back on the broom and the gears back on that primo frame. Go butcher a Visp.

Looks like a fine woodworker’s bench in the background. What kind of wood did you use for the bars and grips ?
