My FBM Sword raw frame built up in an assortment of components I like, including Vuelta Pista rims and hubs, Campy carbon headset, Thompson stem, FSA carbon seat post and Sella Italia seat. Vittoria tires, Eighth Inch crank and BB, shimano brake and Dura Ace lever. Since these photos, the fork was replaced with a matching raw finished one.

please stop posting the same bike. It’s nice but not that nice. Kudos on no risers.

I posted this one because my first submission did not show up for days, and I thought it was not received. Sorry, but this site is slow on the refresh. Already asked to have one deleted.
Everyone’s got a hard on about risers. What are they and why would I need them if I’m happy with my riding position as is?

risers are the choice for practical, cruise urban heads up riding. personally think they are ugly on most bikes(but do understand some riders need).Bulls or drops look so much better on anything with sporting aspirations.Even straight MTB type bars look better(to me anyway)

Nice work! I toyed with the idea of leaving my frame raw (as it polished up beautifully with various grades of emery paper), but was concerned about the potential discolouring, even after laquer. How has yours stood up? And what did you finish it with?

Woah. Way too much red. Remove rim stickers, then silver chain, black straps, better saddle.

when you say what they should/shouldn’t have on their bike based on personal taste, you sound like a dick. There’s absolutely no functionality lost if he has red straps and red chain than if he has black straps and chain. It’s fucking dumb. If he likes red he likes red. The fuck does he care if you don’t? – it’s the same god damn bike.

MC, you’re right. It is based on personal taste and Bob is a dick. However, aesthetics are based on a social construct. He may have said what many were already thinking. We are just offereing advice. No one HAS to do anything they dont want to.

bars looks disproportionately huge. Red chain and pedal straps don’t look good, either….rest of the bike is pretty cool

If you ride fixed you should remove the chain link and link it the right way…….. get the tool… it not expensive and you ll skid w confidence……..
