your the second person to say if i could have a mavic rear, i will say again, THE MAVIC KYRISIUM IS A ROAD WHEEL NOT A FIXED GEAR.

you’re probably right about the Mavic on the rear not being stout enough. On this frame the H-sons would be the better way to go functionally,fixed. Single speed wouldn’t matter. Those bars on the othr hand must go. Drops or Visp to you sir!

yeah there an old set of wheels, eh i was young but they still fairly work,
i love using drops on fixed but drops would look funny on this frame i reckon, i have bullhorns(good ones) but would have to swap stem prob to a thomson x2 for oversized, but i love the elite sooooooo
wheels will be changed sometime in the future just to make lighter (open pros to goldtecs prob)
i will repost when the bike is finished which it very nearly is, and you guys are going to laugh when i do, as there kinda a suprise

h+sons are too heavy, would be more like a mavic cx33 on a suzue hub,
i already have pedals and a chain for the bike,hell i iv got 2 full pedal setups i can use and two chains, just hadnt put them on yet, the bike is now rideable and feels good, going to be rocking it at a halloween allycat. thick i need to go longer stem tho, so going to have to experiment with lengths, lucky iv got spare stems aswell!!!
