lower the stem,tighten the chain.What’s the story with those dropouts?Original or add-on?They seem very short and rough cut to me.Nice Campy parts group,enjoy

not like you’ve every ridden road bikes before—total roadie syndrome on this bike, bar height equals seatpost. drop the stem down or drop and get bullhorns, don’t know how many times i’ve said this. clips? straps? this bike needs some love to match up to the frame in shining armor.

Nice frame, great part selection and a B in execution. Which you can fix. It’s actually the easiest of the three to fix. Luft is spot on about positioning of bars and seat. I would probably change the stem as well. That looks bulky and exaggerated. Cheers

42-24= 46 inch gear. Nice and spinny. Ok on a freewheel round town. Are those clipless pedals? I have yet to try some. y stepson swears by his. I like the way this is set up. I don’t always want my nose over the front tyre when I ride either although it does look like the bars will hit the top tube if you turn too tight. aybe that’s the photo angle playing with my eyes. Cheers.

thanks for the input, will consider all suggestions its just that I’m presently constrained by health (high stem for bad back, low gear due to ACL injury) and finance (parts are just those i had lying around my place hence control tech stem, 3t bar, campy and suntour bits from my previous road bike;
@sloman
yup track drops were machined from a slab of metal by Ave Maldea (really good framebuilder here in Manila)
@luftmensh
right you are…been a roadie for 20+ years; this is my first ss bike, freewheel due to busted knee; really like the freedom from complications of shifting, i feel i shoulda done this a long time ago

I thought so pat. That’s cool. I haven’t ridden a vintage road bike with gears I like yet.
