This is my third project, an 80′s Main D’Or. Main D’Or is an old belgian brand locally known for its high quality bikes. I restored some scratches and corrosion but these are the original colours. I just fell in love with those lugs! 
The bars I picked up out of a bin, they belonged to a small childrens bike. The little tax plate on the front fork is original, but i did give it a little paint job. This bike, just like my Retro Bury Racer, is for sale. Hope you like it! Feel free to comment good/bad…

Love the red, white and blue with the black frame. Take off the white chain.

Those lugs are sexy. Look like Nervex. I’d like this better with a less race styled saddle and a silver chain. The front wheel… it’s a cool spoke pattern but… I think a set of 36h on here would be killer. It’s a cool build though.

I like it! Mine is another approval for the lugs; the whole bike for that matter. A small criticism is the bike can’t seem to decide whether it’s old or new. Cool either way, though.

good to see a real rack,overall very functional and classy.The seat looks way too modern but hope it’s comfy(doubt it)treat yourself to a Brooks copy,brake or straps too.enjoy
