Elaborate yet balanced. Aside from cable guides and colored chain this is very well built. I would remove the rim stickers too.

I disagree – the rim stickers are one of the few visual features this bike has going for it. No doubt that’s the original frame paint, but the addition of the white front rim, red/white seat, red chain, etc kinda give it a “rattle can junker” vibe

Ouch. If rim stickers are a highlight this needs major revision. I would focus less on color matching and more on quality components.

why waste quality components on this frame? It’s nothing special and rides fine as is.looks ok for what it is.Why put lipstick on a pig? Take it to the next level when you can score a frame. Ride this till the wheels fall off while you save if that’s the way you want to go. Nice wheels by the way. Cheers
