is it the frame? it does look very high quality…are kinfolk some sort of legendary frames i should know about?

Yeah ill you haven’t seen enough of the overdone, flashy, carbon fiber, color coordinated, old frame ruined builds. It’s simple, classic, chrome and leather, track oriented, and an original frame I’ve never seen before. That’s why it’s so special. If you can’t see that then you’re looking for the wrong thing. Agreed. Understated if done well is so much more tasteful and captivating. Forget the flash, show off bikes you can see from a block away…just more billboards. Give me a “sleeper” with beautiful, classic elements dripping with timelessness. A build like this, once you notice it pulls you in and makes you admire all the subtle details of it’s composition and flies above the radar of the “fadster”, “gone tomorrow” world. A simple, elegant and powerful machine.

Looks like less than 100 cm. wheelbase and the toe may snag the wheel when turning too sharply. The rear tire clearance looks like mere millimeters.

The way the hand is positioned in the first picture makes the bike look like a miniature.
