Total eco build (ecological and economical).
Reduce: got rid of all non-essentials, incluidng the paint.
Reuse: 100% used parts were… err… used.
Recycle: cycle and cycle and cycle again.
Parts from EBay, Crag’s List, garage sales, and dumps (formerly from China, Taiwan, England, and Japan). Based on a badly beat-up Marlboro Fuji folding MTB. Hand stripped and polished the frame; no powertools or chemicals to honor the eco theme. Bamboo handlebar, cut from a decorative rod in my bedroom. Natural leather saddle and grips. Nothing decorative, nothing faux. (Well… I could not bring myself to strip the original Marlboro logo.)
