I found someone who gave up on this 54cm NYCBike Track Frame. I trimmed the braze-ons for the rear brake cable and took after it with some gold rattle-can paint. I like the results. The bar is made out of some teak that I had in the shop. I decided that I wanted a little more to hold onto and put some grips on this bar. I like the feel with the more vertical position the track frame offers.

Yes, I like the look of this one too. The fork works for me. Wooden handlebars are not so easy to find.

I really don’t like this color combo. You can either do blue tires with black saddle and grips OR black tires with honey leather saddle and wood bar. Techno blue doesn’t fly with gold, honey leather and wood grain. And the fork and stem are distracting and inconsistent with the silver on the rest of the bike, ie seat post, crank, saddle rails, wheel set and brake. You’re headed in the right direction, but you need a little more thought, restraint and color theory behind your motivation. Good luck.

Cool bike. Looks tough. I like the color combo…funky w/o being too flashy.

I dig the colours but the fork/head scares me.
