November 10th, 2011 @7:55 pm
Please, please, please stop posting this bike. Do you like it when people insult your bike and call it ugly? If the answer is no, then why do you keep posting it?
November 10th, 2011 @8:55 pm
I refuse to comment on this bike, again
November 10th, 2011 @9:29 pm

November 10th, 2011 @10:03 pm
It hurts.
November 11th, 2011 @12:11 am

November 11th, 2011 @9:09 am
i’d like to add that bmx pedals look atrocious on this. particularly without foot retention.
November 11th, 2011 @2:22 pm
What color is that saddle.
There is something about this bike that says. I got a lot of money, i will buy parts that are rly expensive (like the hed) and then slap it together. Should make a good result. =False
I would go for a much more minimalisk look. The hed bull is just over the top when not taking it to the track imo. It doesnt look good, and is only rly good if you are positioned aero dynamic and about to accelerate if you know what i mean.
I dont think this bike is what i would call ugly, well actaully this version is close to due to the new HED. I bet it makes some heads turn when you drive by. But i am pretty sure they will be as confused as I or maybe even more.
With all the money put into this bike, it amazing that it still looks a bit like work in progress.
But hey, if it rides fast and you like the look. Great. I must say, its not my cup of tea.
I would love to know what purpose you use this bike for?
November 12th, 2011 @7:25 am
Lots of disposable income, no sense of style.
November 12th, 2011 @5:42 pm
So wait…this bike fits you using BOTH a 50mm stem (seen in your previous pics) AND the one shown here? Do have even the slightest idea of what the fuck you are doing when it comes to bike fit?
November 12th, 2011 @6:08 pm
I bet these handlebars are the only type of Hed this guy is getting…
November 13th, 2011 @4:09 am
Gets a ten from me for trying really really hard!
November 13th, 2011 @1:41 pm
@K-dregg, since when do we get points for trying? He tried. Tried to make it look like he has a lot of money and no sense…
November 13th, 2011 @5:21 pm
Fuckkk, people are still talking shit on here, I just have to ask, do you really think the owner is gonna look at your blunt comments and go, wow I should change my whole bike cuss these old hags have sticks up there asses, its sad that you think your opinion matters so greatly
November 13th, 2011 @7:33 pm
@OneHunnet I agree, let the dude ride his bike and enjoy it. Saying negative things about other people will just separate the bike community, which is useless. Just be happy with the back that you have, and accept everyone else’s. We all have different taste, lets embrace it, not decline the opportunity to see different perspectives on bikes. Now granted those handlebars are not exactly practical, its his choice. Just leave it alone.
November 13th, 2011 @8:06 pm
Wow! OneHunnet’s rant totally changed my mind. The way I’ve been foolishly living my life has been all wrong and this bike is fucking awesome!!!
November 13th, 2011 @8:14 pm
Uh agreed… This bike, sweet teets!
November 13th, 2011 @11:35 pm
@OneHunnet, If our opinions don’t matter, then why do people post their bikes on a website designed to allow people to give feedback?
November 14th, 2011 @12:15 am
@Blendo, There is a difference between offering criticism and just being a moron.
For example:
Being a moron:
—”We definitely needed you to post this bike a FOURTH time. Yup, it’s still stupid.”
—I bet these handlebars are the only type of Hed this guy is getting…
Offering criticism:
—i’d like to add that bmx pedals look atrocious on this. particularly without foot retention.

+1
November 14th, 2011 @9:53 am
@Dovitsky, Ohhh we’re just giving him a hard time. Calm down.
November 14th, 2011 @9:59 am
so why would you as a cyclist like to give another cyclist a hard time?? that just plain stupid. i’m very sad to see this
November 14th, 2011 @10:44 am
Hint-don’t wanna get ragged on four times don’t pos it four times. And grow some so you can stand the stinging barbs hurtled be the merry band of malcontents here abouts.
November 14th, 2011 @11:44 am
Dovitsky – I bet you’re a real blast to hang out with.
November 15th, 2011 @8:04 am
Geezus crust
November 23rd, 2011 @6:03 am
I think this is a clean build
WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE LEADERS ON THE SITE??
November 23rd, 2011 @6:47 am
Perhaps this is an attempt at comedy. I mean really. The Paul crank, the pedals from a BMX, the wheels, THE WHEELS. And the jewel of the crown: that headset and handlebar combination. Its like a storm trooper bike from Spaceballs.
November 23rd, 2011 @9:36 am
“Its like a storm trooper bike from Spaceballs.” Well played, sir. Every aspect of this build is over the top, nothing matches, and the bmx pedals is the coup de grace.
NIQ: There are few Leaders, imo, that are well built, possibly due to the popularity of the frame. And those who build bikes for popularity usually don’t have the bike’s best interest in mind. This build for example is trying to be a track bike, but due to the presence of a brake, the aerodynamics of a washing machine, and the incredibly inefficient clip-less, strap-less pedals, ultimately falls short of that attempt. That’s how I feel anyway.
