Hello everybody,

Nice bike. I love the conversion classic road bikes. What is the deal with the block wall behind all of your pictures? are you in jail?

Looks ok, but what’s going on with the saddle?
It reminds me of a zit on a pretty girl’s chin

Really, what is with the saddle on all your bikes. Zit on a pretty girls chin is a great comparison. My theory is that it is the same one in all pics. Or that Gabe got a case of em real cheap through his dads bike shop or somethin’. Like the wheels anyhow, though I wish you would send them to me for free instead of trying to sell them on a web site not meant for sales. Please take your bikes to e-bay and stop posting them here.

Yes I do know this bike was posted along time ago. Still the message stays the same. Go away Gabe.

You know what? We have got to stop the Gabe-bashing. Yes, he is a maniac. Yes, he misses the mark (often). So the fuck what? Like it or not, he is building fixies. Is he running some kind of scam? Or, is he full of shit -like the rest of us?

ya Gabe is a tradition around these parts.Even I have seen merit in a few of his works. It’s just so easy in some cases. He is building and useing some great parts.Look at these wheels.Wrong frame but he put it out there.Props for that.

JFC :/
If it was a bit harder to build a single speed I’d lighten up on them, but we have thirteen year olds who walk their broken bikes over to our shop saturday mornings, grab our crappiest tools, and fix their single speed bikes up and ride away on them, AND putting together a crappy bmx bike tends to be harder than putting together a full sized single speed because you have less room to move around and the parts tend to be shittier. If gabe was building up shitty geared bikes it would be one thing, but slapping a bunch of mismatched parts together doesn’t win me over that’s for sure. The thing I love about most of the bikes on here (even ones with aesthetics I don’t particularly care for) is that someone actually took the time to piece together a bike as well as they could and they’re proud of it. I see minimal effort in gabe’s bikes.

Also, that JFC was for the bike, not your comment jqnyc.
