Ugh!!! Why are people putting riser bars on bikes that SHOULD NOT HAVE RISER BARS??! You might as well take the Track and Pro off the title of this bike.

I agree. Risers are street bars. Why buy the track bike if not for the track? Besides, it’s just another new track frame with risers, ourys, sugino, rear b43 and front aerospoke. Seen one seen a million.

yah i agree with the comments….
that is a track/velodrome frame, but with street risers. seems counter intuitive.
its like putting off road truck tires on a honda civic.
or more like those people with big pick up trucks that they lower and put tiny wheels on them….pick up trucks are meant for hauling stuff and being able to drive off road, but doing that now you cant.

poser alert.let me know when you sell it used cheap and move to the next fad.UNCW is building a velodrome where this belongs(after the riser/O-grips get recycled).

if a dude wants to put risers on his bike who the fuck are you snobby cunts to tell him other wise, let the guy ride his bike with a smile on his face with out any negative criticism. If i want to put off road wheels on a civic who are you nobodies to tell me i can’t.

Im liking the bike nice color spread.

E I feel you on your comment.. let the guy do what he wants..
But I hope this bike does get on the track at least once and a while. And if it does, I hope he throws on some drops.
Just seems like alot of money invested for street use.

nice colors.. i love riding my track bike in the streets of ny with RISER bars.. track drops IMO are not as comfortable to use in nyc street traffic. and the idiiots above prob dont know how to ride in the street stick to ur velodrome fags.

@nyc, I ride daily with drops in NYC traffic. frankly, this bike deserves drop bars of some sort. I guess to each their own, as long as it gets ridden, who cares?

OneHunnet=asshat who spouts opinions without much information. Do you have a ride on here or just say stupid things for the hell of it.

to much white i think..
July 11th, 2011 @4:27 pm
I dig this. Whether it’s “supposed to be” a track bike or not, risers are a hell of a lot more practical on the street than stupid track drops. I hope you ride the motherfucking hell out of it.

The front wheel makes me Homesick. Like a Windmill.

This thing looks like fun. The argument about it being only for a track is arcane. Do you people also have a problem with wearing white after labor day? Or, that its only cool to wear running shoes if you are running? Please. This site is all about experiments. Yes, sometimes bravely in the face of common sense and often a poser or two might need calling out but not this bike. This site is mostly composed of track bikes set-up for the street anyway so give it a rest. To my eyes, everything about this looks correct. Yes, even the aero. The colors, the angle of the seat, the bars. All of it looks like this track bike would serve fairly well (perhaps a little too stiff) on the street. For me –I would need a brake– but some of you people seem to get along with out one so… god-bless.
