heavy but smooth. 52/16. the reach looks long, but only cause i ride on hoods most of the time and in the drops for sprints out of traffic stops or when theres a big headwind. will probably change the wheelset next to lighter low pro rims. criticisms welcomed =)

Fine bikes, never heard them called heavy. The one I built(8 speedx2 and brakes)came out just at 19 lbs. Only stupid light part was magnesium seatpost(which broke eventually). Is this Al or steel(they came both ways as I remember. I just put a wireless ‘puter on project, mostly to see if coaster setup was as fast as it seems. Lap times on my loop are within seconds of Bianchi times(maybe I don’t use the brake as much?) Anyway.nice ride.

These are setup very well for the real world, 36h rim makes a strong wheel. Frame has a great ride with solid bottom bracket. Maybe some Gatorskins for a no mess around tire.

thanks, guys. the bars are angled up on the first pic cause i put aero levers on. riding on the hoods didnt feel comfortable with track drops, so i tilted them up. my next mod is most likely a road bar or at least some trackbar with a much rounder bent.
About the weight: Fuji Feathers are all chromolly steel, this one in particular was about 22.5 lbs in the first pic with the saddle bag and brakes, much of that weight comes from the deep-v’s. completely brakeless and no seatbag or computer it weighed about 19.8 lbs.

Isn’t 19 lbs light for steel?
