70′s Peugeot
-42/16 Ratio
-Rear Alex R450
-Formula Fixed Hub
-16 Tooth 1/8″ Formula Cog
-Formula Lock Ring
-Powder Blue Bar Tape
-Blue KMC 1/8″ Chain
-70′s Peugeot conversion rescued from rusting and dusting under a neighbor’s staircase. Wanted to pimp this thing out but it was WAY too tall for me and the crank and seat needed replacing. Also, I just want it said that this was before I knew how to do the labor myself or the general aesthetic rules regarding poserdom, specifically the matching chain and bars. In spite of this, it was still a decent start.

Like it.
I like the look of the drop handlebar brake levers on fixed conversions and bikes in general. The only thing I’d say is put another cog (or spacers) and lock ring on the other side of your rear hub. Even if you never flip it around it will keep your threads from getting nicked or weathered.

Hey guys. It’s a propper old frame with heavy lugs and everything. Got the old paint and stem too. I remember bikes like this before companies traitoriously left to do ATBs with ally and c,c,c,carbon(I can hardly bring myself to type the word.) Nice bike. Enjoy and don’t get too swung by opinion here. Do it your way and have a laugh.

Sloman; I dunno. It’s 2 am here so I’m off to my pit. Day off tomorrow so I hope to be out riding. Nite mate.

Looks nice, especially like the heavy cast Crown on the fork and the brake looks like a good one, nice adjustment set up.
