I sort of like the colour, i thik it will look geat with a little wear and tear on it.. Personnaly im not a big fan of the Brooks Handlebar tape, either on bars or other parts of bikes.. .-)

Brilliant. First build? I’m doubly impressed. Tighten that chain, remove the bar tape from the top tube.

Yes my firsth fixed. And I think that remove the tape on the up pipe. At the moment it’s only a experiment.

The tape on the top tube is probably for when the bike is locked to something that would damage the paint. Good idea.

what about the down tube and seat tube? those are as likely to touch as the top tube. “wear” is natural for a bicycle that’s actually used.

well, I seem to be the only one who dislikes the light tan/wood look on a bike frame. The whole thing also looks very stretched out (not much you can do about that)

definitely a long wheelbase. i would have done black wheels to contrast with the light frame.
