I see potential in this.

Not much potebtial for a fixed unless you hit “magic”ratio. Even then it’s only until the chain/gears start to wear, then there’s no adjustment. and you’re stuck with that ratio. Save for a track end frame or settle for single cruiser. Nice color palette.

For once, I agree with Slo. Not interested in pretend bikes. All of mine are real and ridden regularly.

Nice conversion. Just going up one or two teeth on the rear cog could sort that chain line out for you..

keep those brakes though,a fixed cross set up (knobbies and all) might be interesting. Hmmm.

just get an eccentric hub and you can keep you ratio.

. . . assuming you’d ride is singled out.

Don’t bother with a frame with vertical dropouts. You can have one fixed gear you probably won’t like or a single speed with chain tensioner, which frankly looks like crap considering it’s a single speed. Road bikes, at least in the US, are extremely common, and a decent semi-horizontal dropout frame should be easy to find. Apart from the frame, I like what’s happening here. Match the rear wheel with the front, new saddle, clips and straps (preferably smaller than the knee brace you have now), bar tape, and a nice tight chain. Great job on your first conversion.

Nice job! When you add a brake still keep some sort of foot retention. You should probably wrap and cap the bars, but the whole cockpit looks great. Good luck finding your ‘magic gear’!
