Biggest douchebag I’ve ever seen. This guy should be embarressed. Cancel a couple of your gym memberships and sell your matching aerospokes so you can afford a quality frame and t-shirt. Get a clue. This dude doesn’t even know how to spell velodrome.
I think the most important thing is that this guy is having fun! Who cares what his frame or t shirt is like as long as it makes him or someone else happy thats what counts right?
and that IS a quality frame…I have the same 720TR and its crazy smooth for an aluminum frame…its a hybrid geometry as well, road-based with track ends and a few tweaks rather than vice versa.
Ok so I guess its cool because its super nowsckool.
Fail: aeronopes/any current deep rims/oury grips on any vintage(1995 earlier) anything=FAIL
Only deep-v rims that are cool on bikes after 92 and before 2000 are Campagnolo(Shamal, Vento, Scirocco, Zonda, Atlanta), Torelli deeps, Gimpemme, or Ambrosia Techno’s.
Yeah that guy isnt cool. He’s not one of us 90lbs soaking wet,Tight jeans shorts, retro bike hat wearing, coffee shop, organic vegan, ultra liberal new jack poseurs. His bike sucks because it is pretty badass. He doesnt even have cards stuck in his spokes like all us trendy conformobots.
Sick as hell. No problem whatsoever with this bike or it’s highly enthusiastic rider, Alex. Parlorbikes, you’re an effing retard. Who the hell can afford any set of Italian deep vs for the street? What would be the point? Get a job and stop using your daddys trust fund as a reason to be an elitest snob and criticize bikes you could only dream of building. Whammy.
All the haters in this post sound like a bunch of cry baby tools. This guy obviously has a good sense of humor and doesn’t take himself as seriously as you haters do.
he’s having fun and gettin’ it done.looks like he’d be fun to ride with(assuming no ‘roid rage).come on ,us old guys feel like this sometimes, just hold it in now.enjoy
I remember that. Used to lift and had a physique too. All gone!!(sobs into beer) It’s waiting for all of you thin muscly guys, The 40s. Mor than half way through and it’s tough.(but there is always beer)
I’m near Cambridge, about 5 miles from the fens. An area that was reclaimed from the sea by Dutch engineers in the 1800s. Kinda flat. No escape from the wind though. At least hills have a down side.
Not sure why the bike is called Fatty, the rider may as well be called The Tank. Gabriel responded to this bike on 17 December 2008 That too is rare ! Quiet guys rebuilding bikes it seems.
this dude is cool and I would hang out wid him anyday, his bike gives me inspiration for my next build, cos thats what its about…ideas…inspiration…seeing what works what dont, btw alan flint,I used to live in the village Upwell in the early 70′s and went to the wash when it froze over,I was the only 5 year old riding a bike wid training wheels at the wash driftin hard on the ice…now thats hardcore
