and that IS a quality frame…I have the same 720TR and its crazy smooth for an aluminum frame…its a hybrid geometry as well, road-based with track ends and a few tweaks rather than vice versa.

Fail: aeronopes/any current deep rims/oury grips on any vintage(1995 earlier) anything=FAIL
Only deep-v rims that are cool on bikes after 92 and before 2000 are Campagnolo(Shamal, Vento, Scirocco, Zonda, Atlanta), Torelli deeps, Gimpemme, or Ambrosia Techno’s.

I’m near Cambridge, about 5 miles from the fens. An area that was reclaimed from the sea by Dutch engineers in the 1800s. Kinda flat. No escape from the wind though. At least hills have a down side.

this dude is cool and I would hang out wid him anyday,his bike gives me inspiration for my next build,cos thats what its about…ideas…inspiration…seeing what works what dont,btw alan flint,I used to live in the village Upwell in the early 70′s and went to the wash when it froze over,I was the only 5 year old riding a bike wid training wheels at the wash driftin hard on the ice…now thats hardcore
