One of the nicest conversions i’ve seen. Framecolor, all silver parts, leather, wheels: fucking A.

Just some bikes are better not converted given the availability of purpose built “track type”frames. Nothing wrong with a great geared bike for long fast rides.Frames like the Merciers, and all the others make messing with conversions questionable unless they are almost free. Few if any conversions ride as nice as a proper track based fixie. That’s the way I plan to go on my next project(unless I can score an almost free frame for my coaster wheels).

@Wicked – they’re railway sleepers waiting to be removed
@Florian – thanks bud, that’s how I feel about it too!
@sloman – it’s not really a quality frame, just ‘hi-ten’ steel, and I’m lucky enough to have a Boardman Team for those geared rides.
