Meet Chunk everybody… just a beater I built myself to see if I can… rides pretty nice now I’ve gotten used to the compact frame… the stubby downhill stem makes it pretty whippy too… it’s not superfast but I can still smoke 95% of the guys in lycra on they’re $5k road bikes so not bad for $600 bucks or so haha…

must have some pretty lame lycra riders there and everything is downhill.but keep telling yourself how fast you are.nice ride though.

I’ve seen this bike around. You park out the front of Sensory Lab, right? Looks much better in the flesh. Or aluminium.

Smoke the road riders on that? Maybe for a hundred yards until you’re outa breath, or until the first hill, or maybe at the 50th mile when you’re a light year behind….
No offense about your bike, but that’s just not what fixies do.

Just having a laugh fellas, relax… you guys don’t see the majority of riders in Melbourne on the weekends… There are definitely the guys out there who can ride and I claim nothing on them… but they’re not even close to being the majority.
Ratio is 48/15.. anybody got any practical comments?? all anybody seems to do is hate around here these days…

Just for the record, Chunk looks to be a great ride with the fat tires and the straight fork, aluminum frame, pedal to the metal geo. Color combo is pleasing for maturing adults who know their limits. Put a big guy on that; I bet it moves good.
