This is my Capricorn fixed-gear commuter, road, and general-purpose fun bike. The frame’s made here in Minneapolis, fillet brazed, and built with American-made tubes and dropouts. The bike rides fast and stiff, and has taken some serious beatings this summer and held up like a champ.
Components are nothing fancy except for the Campy headset and Superbe Pro brake. Everything else is good-quality, mid-priced stuff that need little notice but make for a dependable steed: Formula hubs, Sugino cranks, Shimano pedals, Brooks saddle, Nitto stem, Origin8 bar, Continental rubber. I run 46×15 here in the city and never avoid the modest hills we have along the river.

Love that fork. Mmm, mmm. My straight steel fork buzzes like a coffee grinder. Carbon? Maybe.
