First fixed gear I’ve ever made, I found a early 80’s Peugot online for 25 euros. I striped it, threw on some spray paint and then went shopping. So far I could only afford a back Velocity Deep V, BLB cog, good ol’ Oury grips and Shadow Conspiracy’s Interlock 2 chain. The damn thing came about 6 links too short so I have scabs in til I can buy a few more. I’m using a 48/18 ratio for the mad streets of Marseille. The rest of the bike I found/borrowed/stole ’til I can replace them. I’m petty happy with it for a first build. Rides pretty well though it’s still taking some time to get used to the feel. IT looks nice from afar but the paint is gonna chip soon. You might also want to check your chain tension.

I like it. It has great potential. Just spray a nice clear coat over the bare metal and get a matching front wheel.
