Bad Ass!

what is classic or track about this? Boat anchor knock off wheels, Barbie’s risers, and a Gabe seat. Stem is a mile high and he still needs risers? And what’s with the locks wrapped around the top tubes lately? replacements for rags? Call it what it is-another fad fixed velohip wannabe.

Ouch sloman. I like it. I wouldn’t call it classic, track, or classic track, but the wheels are bright, the chain is tight, and that saddle looks like a Turbo.

I think locks on these past few bikes show that these people get out and ride.I feel hating on the fact that there practical beauty in every day riding is stupid. I’m pretty sure people are very turned off by this website(sloman) just give it brake player…

Practical, constructive criticism is encouraged after a little stroking. This bike is set up perfectly and has distinctive colors. Even the Ourys work. The wheel colors match -10 points for that alone. What are they? B43s? Who cares? Not an ultra-expensive ride I would think -thats a good thing. 10 points for that too. Please PLEASE tell me you don’t ride with that chain and lock on the toptube. Someone here once posted that the only time a lock should touch a bike is when its locked up. The weight of a lock carried on your body is far less of an impediment to riding than strapping those extra pounds to the frame.

just sick of hearing about lame”serious track bikes”.it is or it ain’t that’s all. this is ok for what it is-a Starbucks cruiser circus wagon- it ain’t classic or track.
December 12th, 2011 @9:40 pm
sloman, you’ve got to remember that the term “track” has become mainstream and synonymous with fixed gear, which of course is inaccurate. hop onto ebay and anything related to fixed gear is termed “track.” but that’s sort of the beauty about fixed gear customization. that we can integrate true track and everyday components and defy the line between track and street.

BLB Classic Track is just the name of the frame, and yes i don’t ride with the lock on the frame.
December 13th, 2011 @6:20 pm
I about fell out of my seat when I read all of arguing about the bike “name” then found out it was the manufacturer’s name and not the owners.

Brick Lane Bikes.
December 14th, 2011 @7:21 am
like duh.Mr. Obvious.
December 14th, 2011 @7:12 pm
like duh. sloman back pedaling. See above comment Dec. 12. There is ignorant (as in stupid) and then there is willful ignorance (as in careless, inaccurate posts without a mea culpa). I presume that latter. Your not stupid.
December 14th, 2011 @9:36 pm
Gee I don’t have the catalog of every frame maker burned into my memory. Assuming the owner called this Track and Classic ,not BLB-my bad. My disgust with hipster tagging stands. Oh,did you know BLB stands for Brick Lane Bikes!
December 14th, 2011 @10:02 pm
So obvious you were jumping in there to make that obvious claim.
December 14th, 2011 @10:24 pm
ouch.changing my tag to quickdraw. humble pie accepted.
December 15th, 2011 @2:17 am
Actually he does call it BLB (see above). No one is falling for the petulant backpedaling. Is the “tag” (or “name of bike” for us less hip) part of the voting process? If so, a lot of names (or tags as you call them) on this site are pretty lame in my opinion. Is the tag sloman some hipster-slang? Or is that the tag your mother gave you?
December 15th, 2011 @6:21 am
Give it up dude,Mea Culpe already. Hipster slang?really? Hippy maybe-ode to Mr. E.Clapton. Me MUM called me Sir. And I save my backpedaling for my coaster. Cheers.
December 15th, 2011 @8:47 am
Whose Mr. E Clapton? Is that some baby-boomer reference? Tepid apology accepted.
December 15th, 2011 @10:38 am
can’t even look at this bike with that tumor of a bike lock dominating it
December 15th, 2011 @11:30 am
gee, thanks for forgiveness ignorant pretentious ironic gen X,Y,Zer(pic one that applys). Thought I’d make ageist generalization as well. Lighten up,life’s too short.
December 15th, 2011 @1:23 pm
sloman, backpedaling? outrageous.
December 15th, 2011 @2:46 pm
Geez! I was just asking a question. Now you’re calling me names. You seem angry
Something to do with being busted for the hypocritical assessments no doubt.
December 15th, 2011 @5:34 pm
Ignorant, hypocritical, sarcastic, mean, generalizing. If this is your version of light slo I’d hate to see your heavy.
