It looks like you have a bit of bicycle chain looped around the saddle/seatpost to prevent it from getting stolen? If you glue a small ball bearing in the allen head seat post bolt the allen wrench wont fit the bolt, making seat post theft really hard.. Never tried it myself though..
yah superglue a ball bearing into the allen head. superglue is easily desolved by acetone i think it was….and not many bike thiefs carry that around. another solution is specially headed screws you can buy online that come with a special tool to use them. some of the heads are triangular instead of hex or whatever
There’s nothing wrong with NJS parts. It’s just that almost every real track bike looks gorgeous and there’s no point in posting them here as the look like taken from manufacturer’s catalogues. This is a build that needed some more thougt than just choosing Shimano or Suntour or Campy and Nitto or Cinelli. Just my opinion.
This is gorgeous.

Now ride it like you stole it..!
Couldn’t you just super glue a ball bearing in the seat post binder instead of the ghetto bike chain you have right now?

That handlebar/stem combo is sick. I want that fork. It should be legal to kill bike thieves…slowly.

Very nice. Finally one that is just built nicely and with some class without screaming NJS.

whats wrong with njs parts/bikes ?

Nothings “wrong” with njs. It’s just that njs is a mark of standardization and doesn’t really mean anything out of context.

Hey! does anyone have any recommendations on how to improve the looks? it will be used in a photo shoot next week.

I, for one, would remove the “security” chain on the seat. Otherwise this looks pretty deluxe-badass.
