Knobbly/cross tyres are great off road and you get used to them on the tarmack.I rode cross tyres for years all over the place. They didn’t wear out that quickly so I saw no reason to change them.Especially as any road ride I do can be diverted by finding an unknown footpath leading off somwhere interesting between the fields. That still happens on my semi slicks, with varying degrees of control. Ha,ha. I do like the way they coordinate with the forks and frame pannels. It’s an interesting bike. Be proud.

Yeah! Cheap but Bling! lives on! Knobby tires are great… if its a motorcycle or a car, or truck. Because a bike frame is lighter than the rider and the width of the wheel does not distribute the weight across a large patch. Tread, of any sort only creates more surface –no help in the rain. Now, if your in the mud or snow it might help with traction. I wouldn’t know. I’m a city boy. Snipertoe where are you? *sniff*

I like it too. and prefer it over most of the screaming Bianchi and the bars look practical and has also become my preferred riding position. I cut my 2nd pair of drops last week making the survivors that much more rare. sorry CS
