Reminds me of a Greyhound dog, ready to run like hell. No nonsense just quick!

I like it. Cool bars. Yep, it does look fast.

Thanks gang! At first I wasn’t too sure of the drops, but they are very efficient pedalin’ up hills, busting out of lights and ducking through the wind. The Sugino bb/crankset is very snappy, much nicer than the stock Truvativ setup on my Kilo TT. Keep it safe, keep it fun!

A good start. I kind of want to see more orange.

I’m bummed I sold the orange front, but you gotta pay those bills somehow. Probably ggoing to lace up a set of formula hubs to mavics for the Spring. A nice modest black/silver kit. However, with the orange comes the extra assurance that it is less likely for drivers to blitz you up from the sides in the low light. That’s real nice.

Chuck, I like the mismatched wheel set. That’s one of the interesting elements of this to me. Another orange rim up front and rim of the same profile would have been predictable. I like the balance of orange between the grips, back wheel and hub. I’m not saying I don’t like matching wheel sets but this looks like good style to me.

looks awesome as is.the differing wheels give it a serious look ,not the silly “look at me” trend so previlant.more racer, not circus.

I agree, I kind of like the mismatch wheels. Makes the bike look more race; performance specific. Nice bike.

It is hard to beat reflectors in the wheels for visibility or Swalbe Marathon ? reflective sidewalls but of course reflectors are not cool only safe. I use diamond reflective tape on fork or tubes in a complimentary color with the bike to show up a little in dim conditions. Also I bought a bright yellow fleece jacket for some visibility for goofy drivers. All eyes and ears when riding no earplugs etc. Thanks

I don’t mind the color mixmatch but the plain jane silver wheel seems too stark a contrast from the super deep v orange in the back. I’d settle for a silver weinmann or amelia. But really, for me, if I was going for a silver in front and orange in back then I’d have them both either deep or standard, which chuck mentioned as silver mavics. And if you’re avoiding being trendy then the one trendy wheel seems contradictory, this is aimed more at posts than the bike itself.

Luft, Imma swap the current wheel set to the beater, and rock the mavic set on the Jury. Road about 20 miles this morning through some snow flurries, and now I feel like a champion… All limber and shit, cheers!
Peep the sloppiest youtube bike edit ya ever seen.

As far as the ride goes, the front wheel isn’t as important as long as its not completely shitty, so its good that you let go of the front instead of the rear. Visually, I like the difference. I think its one of the things that keeps it from being ‘just another fixed gear’. I really really like those swept back drops. I like that look on bikes. I think it would look better if the grips went all the way down, but still looks good.
