This bike was an off the shelf Allegro Pista XL. I changed both the wheels (the back is a Velocity B43 and the front is a deep V). I also grabbed the Viper saddle off my old hybrid since the stock saddle was really uncomfortable. The bars are Nitto with champ grips, the toe clips are Soma, and the KMC red chain is super awesome ;D

gotta love those B43s, good choice!! Did you think to do a 2x cross lacing on the back since the B43 is such a strong heavy wheel?

I almost always think colored chains are overkill or distracting. But since it’s the only color on this bike aside from black, silver and white and you’ve made it a “feature” it looks cool. Extra Awesome – Approve.

i too love those b43s (hint). personally i’d do a white rim in front, get a 0 degree stem and risers.

Nice fixed gear. I agree that a matching white front rim would complete the look along with a black neck.

the bike as it stands is pretty cool, looks fun. the red chain is awesome especially since its the only red on the bike.
but know what i think might set it off? a red front valve cap and red brake cable ;p
they are such small things that the extra red wouldn’t make the build too red but it would triangulate the color usage (sorry design school talk)…i also think black ourys would look better because the bars look skinny with those grips and ourys would beef’n up the cockpit lol
just nit picking because thats what this site is for ;p
i like the bike allot though as it stands
